Because it’s Not OK

I would imagine that a lot of people in my space who do what I do, do it for very similar reasons. Because we’ve been there, we know how hard it is to run a small business. I know how hard it is to be the leader, to find and hire the right people and then to retain them. I know how hard it is to grow a business.

I believe the global statistics for the number of people who start their own businesses 7%,  that means that 93% of people in the world will never understand what it is you go through on a daily basis, they will never grasp what it is that you have to do every day, what you have to go through in order to run a small business let alone grow one.

The constant struggle of finding customers, of making sales, of managing cash flow, being able to pay the bills, pay wages, find staff, manage staff and the 101 other worries that face you every single day.

It takes its toll,  the sheer amount of stress,  the worry,  not being able to switch off,  and often the fact that you work weekends, you take less time off,  you can’t have time off sick, you don’t have holidays and quite often you’re paying yourself less than the people that you employ, to me that’s, just not OK

You started business to create a better life for yourself,  you took the risks quite often it’s your house on the line,  not to you after the stress of paying the business bills and your own personal bills you feel deeply the stress and worry created by having to find wages every single month to everybody that you employ can pay their mortgage and their bills,  and what’s really not OK is somehow most of you have convinced yourself that this is just the way it is this is the price you pay for being in business.

That’s not OK

The sad fact is from 97% of people this goes on for years in fact it goes on right up until the point they decide that they need to get out, when they decided they’re going to sell the business for way less than it’s worth simply because they’ve had enough.

What’s worse is it really doesn’t have to be that way, with a few simple tweaks, with a few simple steps you can start to make things better, you can start to have the life that you deserve, and you can help your people get steady growth in their own careers.  You can start to iron out the bumps, you can start to make it more efficient and easier to run.

All it takes is a little humility to accept that there might be a better way of doing this, not a better way of doing what you do but a better way of running the business that you’ve got.

After all whatever it is that your business does, I’m sure you or your people spent years learning how to do that, how many years have you spent studying business, not being in business but actually studying it, reading about it, learning about it from people who know how to do it,  how many hours if you spent studying what does and what doesn’t work?

That is why I do what I do, because I know the struggles business owners face, and at the same time I know there is a better way, away where things become easier, not easy, just easier?

It couldn’t be easier to get started, it’s just a conversation about what you want to achieve and whether or not we both think I can help you do that, there are no fees, no expectations its just a conversation, and at the very least you come away with some ideas that might just make your life and business a little easier,
